Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager

We are currently working with a client who is urgently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager for supervision of construction works for a HV-Substation project in the UAE.

Specific Requirements:

Profound theoretical knowledge and practical experience of minimum 10 years in:

Project as well as field works

Substation Design

Interface coordination with all related disciplines

Microprocessor based control & numerical protection

Telecom installation

Type & Factory acceptance tests

Site acceptance tests & commissioning

Handling a project self-responsible with proper coordination and cooperation within a company structure

Guiding site supervisory staff of all disciplines to ensure safety, quality and progress of the project

Coordinating and cooperating with company’s design office for all disciplines to ensure works & contracts progress in technical and commercial terms

Preparation of all required reports, follow up documentation and correspondence of the project

Progress certification in technical and commercial terms

General Requirements:

Only degree holder (BSc, MSc) in Electrical Engineering, conversant with related international standards

Fluent English (written & spoken), excellent correspondence skill in contractual & technical matters

Team performer, Liaison & close co-ordination with the client

Excellent computer literacy (MS-Office), preferably work experience as contractor and consultant, preferably work experience in M.E.

Preferably valid M.E. driving license
