Project:

Consulting Services for Preparation of Final Design and Tender Documents, Assistance to PEA in Tendering and Contracting of the Project and Site Supervision.

Component:

Water Loss Reduction in the Middle Governorates. Project funded by EU and KfW, the client is the local Water Authority. The project involves identification of water losses in the water supply system. The consultant will also provide detailed engineering design of rehabilitation measures, preparation of bill of quantities and cost estimates, support to the client in the tender process and construction supervision.

Experience required:

. Senior Engineer, water supply, Environmental, Civil, Mechanical or other related fields of expertise

. Experience in preparing terms of reference, tender documents and tender evaluation reports based on FIDIC conditions and KfW procurement guidelines

. Contractors management experience

. Minimum 10 years general experience

. Development banks experience, preferably with the KfW

. Mechanical & Electrical experience is essential

. African experience would be an advantage

. Background needs to be water focussed and involving some experience in water loss projects

. Experience in designing water and wastewater facilities, both treatment plants and network, including rehabilitation projects

. Minimum 10 years general experience
