<p><strong>Job Summery</strong></p>
<p>The Power Plant Business Manager is responsible for sales and contract management within the business unit Steam Business</p>
<p><strong>Business / Products</strong></p>
<p>The Steam Business Unit is to provide and/or deliver following services to customers in the steam power plant and desalination plant industry:</p>
<ul>
<li>spare parts</li>
<li>reconditioning and repair of parts</li>
<li>field service specialists for erection, supervision, commissioning</li>
<li>retrofits, modernizations, upgrades and plant overhauls</li>
<li>any form of long term contract or O&amp;M agreement</li>
<li>consultancy  and value propositions in any plant area</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT:</p>
<ul>
<li>participates in the development of the Company’s business strategy</li>
<li>is responsible for the implementation of the business strategy</li>
<li>is responsible for the budget establishment and long term planning (Orders Received, Sales, Gross Margin)</li>
<li>is responsible for business forecasting</li>
<li>is responsible for the overall planning and forecasting of the service activities</li>
<li>identifies and develops business opportunities</li>
<li>defines project strategies (e.g. differentiation, pricing)</li>
<li>establishes, maintains and improves the relationship with customers thru regular personal contacts/visits</li>
<li>ensures and improves the customer satisfaction</li>
<li>monitors market and competitors</li>
<li>ensures co-ordination and cooperation with the relevant ALSTOM Service  Execution Centers (SEC) and Local Service Centers (LSC)</li>
<li>sets priorities and ensures optimization in matters concerning
<ul>
<li>conflict of goals / interests</li>
<li>capacities / resources</li>
<li>cooperation with partners (internal/external</li>
<li>etc</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>translates the business performance metrics and proposes corrective actions if and when required</li>
<li>participates at and contributes to:
<ul>
<li>Business Review Meetings</li>
<li>Management Meetings</li>
<li>Steam Business Meetings</li>
<li>Others as and when required</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>supports the quality management as well as the regulations of EHS (environment, health and safety management) and ensures that those regulations concerning his own work area are followed consistently</li>
<li>is responsible for the implementation of organizational/business development and product management initiatives</li>

<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>
<p>Responsible for all pre sales, sales, bidding, after sales business activities of the GT/CC in the region</p>
<p><strong>Business Products</strong></p>
<p>The GT/CC business unit, is to provide the following services and products that relates to gas turbine and combined cycle power plants industry:</p>
<ul>
<li>Spare parts</li>
<li>Retrofit, modernisation, upgrades of power plants</li>
<li>Field service specialist for erection, supervision, commissioning, and consultation.</li>
<li>Repair and reconditioning of gas turbine parts</li>
<li>O&amp;M contract agreements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>The Regional Sales is responsible for implementing the GT/CC strategy, and daily sales activities in this region, this includes the following main activities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Integrate and work with the GT/CC team to achieve common goals.</li>
<li>Respect and adhere to the company reporting structure.</li>
<li>Draw monthly/annual Sales forecast for the region</li>
<li>Set out a appropriate sales plan to ensure that the sales forecast is achieved</li>
<li>Plants/customer regular sales visits.</li>
<li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities.</li>
<li>Customer support and coordination with SEC.</li>
<li>Prepare quotations and all bidding activities.</li>
<li>Determine winning strategies to win jobs.</li>
<li>Ensures that the GT/CC division’s business strategy is implemented and stay on track.</li>
