One of our newer clients is looking to expand which means they are now seeking a CEO – PPSL to help them do so.
Roles & Responsibilities:
You will be reporting to the Director and CMO at all times
To head a medium scale business operations with a turnover of 250 Cr. and align the business targets with the groups vision to grow it into a 1000 cr. business
Handle Revenue, EBIDTA, set budgets and ensure adherence to the same. Monitor the running of operations within costs
Responsible for overall management of the affairs of the business
To closely liaise with functions like Marketing, Finance and Materials, in the achievement of the objectives
Drive the team and the operations in the most productive and customer focused orientation
Ensure operations adhere to Health, Safety and Environment and Quality standards at all times
Make informed decisions on the directions to take to grow the business in all situations and keep the board apprised
Monitor feedback from customers and use it to improve the business
Hold regular meetings to register customer complaints and redress the issues promptly
Meet the auditors regularly and participate in audits and review meetings
Follow all rules and systems required by law are followed strictly
Ensure all guidelines and best practices are followed at all times
Job Requirements:
A degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering / Technology from a premier institute of repute
The ideal candidate should have 25 – 30 years of industrial experience, preferably in the fabrication industry
Knowledge (Technical and Functional)
Strong Operations Management experience in diverse assignments spreading over the engineering industries such as heavy structural & tubular fabrication work, like steel shuttering/scaffolding, Industrial storage systems, Process equipments & custom built fabrication projects etc
Knowledge of Quality tools like TQM, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of Structural Fabrication industry and its related fields
The ideal candidate should have in depth understanding of principles of value creation and planning. These are very essential along with an insight into financial aspects such as RONA & ROCE
Skill
Should be very good with crisis management and all aspects of Business continuity
Should have strong business acumen and skills
He should be able to sketch a future road map for future expansions of the operations company
Must have the ability to command the respect and loyalty of the team
Must possess excellent presentation, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to network with internal and external customers
Highly energetic, aggressive and hands on person and have the ability to work well under pressure
Strong business relationship with various client and employee groups, good negotiation and conflict management skills
Should possess the ability to work with a diverse group of people i.e. corporate, regional, local, multicultural etc
Should possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, troubleshooting and team building skills with proven ability in establishing quality systems / procedures and managing resources
Must be able to propose and deliver against realistic and responsive schedules, budgets, and manpower requirements
While possessing demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, opportunities and engagements, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams – he must be a team player possessing a strong ability to “listen & learn” from the success and experience of others (i.e., Knows when to lead – Knows when to follow)
