<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Generalities</span></strong></p>
<p>Our client is in associated with anotehr consultancy both of which are in charge of the Construction Management and Supervision of GIBE III hydroelectric project for the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo). The plant consists of 240m high roller compact concrete dam, intake tunnels and 1800 MW power plant; It is located on Omo river, about 400 km south of Addis Ababa – Ethiopia. The plant is under construction since July 2006 through EPC contract and is due to be completed in 2012-2013.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">General organisation</span></strong></p>
<p>On site, the resident team in charge of supervision of the works will comprise 10 to 16 (at a maximum) expatriate engineers, who will manage engineers and technicians provided by the Client (EEPCo).</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Living Conditions </span></strong></p>
<p>On site living accommodation will be provided by the Client for families or bachelors.</p>
<p>Working conditions : normal working hours of the client.</p>
<p>Vacation and Flights (for bachelor) : 2 weeks – Twice a year.</p>
<p>Language of Contract: English (good level required).</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Contract Management Engineer </span></strong></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are currently working with a German consultancy on a high profile project in KSA. As well as looking for senior members of staff they are also looking to fill several local positions such as this one.</p>
<p><strong>Work Surroundings:</strong></p>
<p>Our client (OC) has been contracted by the Saudi Electricity Corporation (SEC) for the Qurayyah CCPP as their Consultant. The scope of work comprises amongst others the site supervision with a strong team of management staff, various discipline engineers, quality control staff and local inspectors. Therefore, OC works in a joint venture with Saudconsult as local partner.</p>
<p>The Project is the “Conversion of Qurayyah Open Cycle Power Plant to Combined Cycle Power Plant”. The open cycle power plant is in operation. The Contractor is processing with final works.</p>
<p>The CCPP will consist of 5 blocks; it is designed in a 3+1 configuration with 15 GE Frame 7FA gas turbines. The envisaged final generation capacity will be approximately 3.2 GWel.</p>
<p>The engineering phase for the steam part of the CCPP is currently in progress. Construction works started in July 2010. The proposed project completion date is early 2013.</p>
<p>The Contractor is a Consortium of Arabian BEMCO and DOOSAN Heavy Industries.</p>
<p>Due to the specific requirements in Saudi Arabia a work contract (local work contract) would be between OC’s branch Office in Dammam and the Freelance Employee. The payment will be made in Saudi Riyals. Additionally to the monthly salary accommodation in a camp (300 m distance to the site office) and transportation (personal vehicle incl. insurance also for private use) on site will be provided free of charge. The canteen on site may be used. The contract foresees six weeks of vacation per year, which can be taken in four portions of two weeks maximum duration. As an extra, OC will provide an economy class return ticket from/to KSA/home for these vacations.</p>
<p>Working hours are 10 hours per day and six-day week. OC total team will comprise 10 expatriate experts plus approximately 40 local experts.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>Must be currently working or living in KSA or surrounding countries.</p>
<p>Experience in turbines, auxiliary systems and water are necessary.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are currently working with a German consultancy on a high profile project in KSA. As well as looking for senior members of staff they are also looking to fill several local positions such as this one.</p>
<p><strong>Work Surroundings:</strong></p>
<p>Our client (OC) has been contracted by the Saudi Electricity Corporation (SEC) for the Qurayyah CCPP as their Consultant. The scope of work comprises amongst others the site supervision with a strong team of management staff, various discipline engineers, quality control staff and local inspectors. Therefore, OC works in a joint venture with Saudconsult as local partner.</p>
<p>The Project is the “Conversion of Qurayyah Open Cycle Power Plant to Combined Cycle Power Plant”. The open cycle power plant is in operation. The Contractor is processing with final works.</p>
<p>The CCPP will consist of 5 blocks; it is designed in a 3+1 configuration with 15 GE Frame 7FA gas turbines. The envisaged final generation capacity will be approximately 3.2 GWel.</p>
<p>The engineering phase for the steam part of the CCPP is currently in progress. Construction works started in July 2010. The proposed project completion date is early 2013.</p>
<p>The Contractor is a Consortium of Arabian BEMCO and DOOSAN Heavy Industries.</p>
<p>Due to the specific requirements in Saudi Arabia a work contract (local work contract) would be between OC’s branch Office in Dammam and the Freelance Employee. The payment will be made in Saudi Riyals. Additionally to the monthly salary accommodation in a camp (300 m distance to the site office) and transportation (personal vehicle incl. insurance also for private use) on site will be provided free of charge. The canteen on site may be used. The contract foresees six weeks of vacation per year, which can be taken in four portions of two weeks maximum duration. As an extra, OC will provide an economy class return ticket from/to KSA/home for these vacations.</p>
<p>Working hours are 10 hours per day and six-day week. OC total team will comprise 10 expatriate experts plus approximately 40 local experts.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>Must be currently working or living in KSA or surrounding countries.</p>
<p>Experience in turbines, auxiliary systems and water are necessary.</p>

<p>&#8211; Preparation of inspection reports, progress reports and site correspondence as well as approval of engineering documents, inspection and approval of shipments arriving at site and modifications during the construction phase.</p>
<p>&#8211; Factory inspection of equipment at manufacturer and factory acceptance tests.</p>
<p>&#8211; Approval of engineering documents and drawings.</p>
<p>&#8211; Participation at meetings.</p>
<p>&#8211; Resource scheduling and guidance of sub consultant’s inspectors.</p>
<p>&#8211; Management and coordination of our client’s mechanical, civil, electrical and I&amp;C site staff (approx. 5).</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>Master&#8217;s or Bachelor&#8217;s degree (or equivalent) Minimum of ten years of engineering and/or construction and project management experience in power plant projects, at least three years on Senior Engineer level.</p>
<p>Must have experience with GE 7FA gas turbines. Fluent English; German capabilities are advantageous</p>
<p>Of utmost importance for all positions besides technical skills are political tact and cultural empathy in order to form a beneficial work climate with the client&#8217;s own staff. <strong></strong></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are currently working with a client who has a very high profile project in Saudi Arabia and they are looking for several candidates to fill several positions of which this is one of them.</p>
<p><strong>Job Surroundings </strong></p>
<p>Our client (OC) has been contracted by the Saudi Electricity Corporation (SEC) for the Qurayyah CCPP as their Consultant. The scope of work comprises amongst others the site supervision with a strong team of management staff, various discipline engineers, quality control staff and local inspectors. Therefore, OC works in a joint venture with Saudconsult as local partner.</p>
<p>The Project is the “Conversion of Qurayyah Open Cycle Power Plant to Combined Cycle Power Plant”. The open cycle power plant is in operation. The Contractor is processing with final works. </p>
<p>The CCPP will consist of 5 blocks; it is designed in a 3+1 configuration with 15 GE Frame 7FA gas turbines. The envisaged final generation capacity will be approximately 3.2 GWel. </p>
<p>The engineering phase for the steam part of the CCPP is currently in progress. Construction works started in July 2010. The proposed project completion date is early 2013. </p>
<p>The Contractor is a Consortium of Arabian BEMCO and DOOSAN Heavy Industries.</p>
<p>Due to the specific requirements in Saudi Arabia a work contract (local work contract) would be between OC’s branch Office in Dammam and the Freelance Employee. The payment will be made in Saudi Riyals. Additionally to the monthly salary accommodation in a camp (300 m distance to the site office) and transportation (personal vehicle incl. insurance also for private use) on site will be provided free of charge. The canteen on site may be used. The contract foresees six weeks of vacation per year, which can be taken in four portions of two weeks maximum duration. As an extra, OC will provide an economy class return ticket from/to KSA/home for these vacations.</p>
<p>Working hours are 10 hours per day and six-day week. OC total team will comprise 10 expatriate experts plus approximately 40 local experts.</p>

<p>A Product Engineering Specialist is required to create the product engineering function -be the first such expert in the company and assist in recruitment of additional engineers and creation of the product engineering infrastructure &#8211; systems, methods etc.</p>

<p>Performing all product engineering activities on the first four families of products. This comprises all aspects of the new product introduction engineering tasks and subsequently product sustaining tasks for these parts &#8211; vendor assessment for test and</p>
<p>assembly, probe yield and final test yield analysis, cost reduction, liaison with designers and device engineers.</p>

<p>Experience on Teradyne ATE equipment preferably at both the programming and debug levels.</p>
<p>Proven experience in the testing of mixed signal 1C products.</p>
<p>Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques used in problem solving and manufacturing performance assessment</p>
<p>Knowledge of semiconductor failure analysis techniques</p>
<p>Test hardware debug and good all round electronic engineering skills.</p>

<p>The EPC Contractor APPCO did hire our client in JV with CEG (Cairo/Riyadh) in order to undertake the Final Detailed Design (based on the Tender Design) to be done within 10 &#8211; 12 months starting ASAP.</p>
<p>Our client (with his German Sub-Consultant) is mainly undertaking the Hydraulic Study (Steady State, Transient, etc.) plus HAZOP (risk), while CEG will mainly do beside the design of the pipeline with all accessories (valves, tap off) mainly the design of foundations (Pumping Stations with Electrical Building), while design of superstructures (everything &#8220;above ground&#8221;) will come from the EPC Contractor.</p>
<p>Our client&#8217;s job is beside the a.m. Hydraulic and HAZOP to coordinate the work between APPCO, our client (Sub-Consultant) and CEH and to review Drawings/Documents submitted by APPCO, LI&#8217;s Sub Consultant and CEG and to be upfront (responsible) to the Client.</p>
<p>The PM will have support by:</p>
<p>Deputy Project Manager Cairo and Business Development in KSA (he will sit part time in Cairo within the offices of CEG to check progress of CEG together with you), around 5 MM Hydraulic Expert, 1 MM, Home Office and in KSA for meetings with Client.</p>
<p>We would provide accommodation in Riyadh (where the Contractor recommends to use his compound with all facilities like swimming pool, tennis, etc. and social life, 20 minutes from APPCO) Transport/car within KSA will be provided by APPCO including flights inside KSA to the sites. The office will be within APPCO and CEG</p>
<p>Regular quarterly meetings are to be made in Germany and in KSA together with the Client.</p>
<p>Regular monthly trips are to be made to Cairo to check progress of CEG Cairo.</p>

Although this is a Site Manager position my client is looking for someone who has had Project Management experience there for this is more of a senior position that what it seems.</p>
<p>Minimum requirements:</p>
<p>Must be fluent in the English language (written and spoken), spoken Arabic would be an advantage but not necessary</p>
<p>A University degree in Electrical Engineering is a must, (related degrees could be considered depending on experience)</p>
